My Cats Eyes Are Almost Always Dilated

My cats eyes are almost always dilated. With a cataract, the pupil of your cat’s eye will appear to be a whitish color. His pupils are quite dilated and when he looks up at me, they seem very glassy and reflective. A cloudy eye or increased opacity of the eye is associated with reduced transparency of either the cornea, the fluid media within the eye, or the lens.

One of her eyes dilated the normal way, the other wouldn't dilate at all. I can barely see the yellow. I would have expected to be a black slit and yellow iris showing.
Cat owners always tend to be extremely close with their pets and there is always a lot of affection shown by both the owner and the cat, so you are always likely to notice any. Cats can develop cat eye problems not just from a direct problem with their eyes such as cat glaucoma or cat herpes, but also secondary to systemic cat diseases such as feline immunodeficiency virus or cat leukemia. Cat’s eyes will always dilate periodically.
Multiple health concerns are connected to dilated pupils. In cats, as well as humans,have drainage channels that, if blocked, cause the aqueous humor to accumulate. Most often, a cat will only have a cataract in one eye.
